What there is to know about the regulation
REGULATORY ASSISTANCE
Onda Blu Piscine will provide its clients with a full regulatory and technical assistance. Umbria and Tuscany have transposed legislation UNI 10637, “Swimming pools – Requirements for the swimming pools’ circulation pump, treatment, sterilization and quality of the water” which regulates this industry. Here is possible to find the link to the regional regulations with which Umbria has transposed the Uni legislation – Regional regulation n°2, 1st April 2008. – Regional regulation n°5, 28th May 2009.
SWIMMING POOL CLASSIFICATION
A/1 Class: publicly accessible public or private swimming pools – A/2 Class: Swimming pools for shared use included in hotels, non-hotel accommodations, outdoor structures and farmhouse retreats, which can be used exclusively by the guests of that establishment, and pools included in facilities designed for a collective use such as colleges, universities, gyms etc. – B/1 Class: Swimming pools of buildings with more than four dwellings – B/2 Class: Swimming pools of buildings with less than four dwellings.
NOTICES TO THE ASL (LOCAL HEALTH AUTHORITY) ( FOR A/1, A/2, B/1 SWIMMING POOLS)
Notice of the opening of the swimming pool 30 days prior to the opening; notice reporting the name of the person in charge of the facility; notice of the name of the technical assistants.
MANAGER’S DUTIES (FOR A/1, A/2, B/1 SWIMMING POOLS)
Drafting of the internal regulation (which is to be displayed visibly); Risk assessment document (which can be drafted only after an on-site visit); Collection of the unrenewed water from the tank before the seasonal opening, which is to be done no more than 15 days prior to the opening; Drafting of a daily log to write down the internal checks.
